museum visitorsThe Miller Museum of Geology

The Miller Museum, located in the Department of Geological Sciences, is open to the public from 9am-5pm on weekdays. Exhibits include a large gallery of mineral samples, a dinosaur exhibit (featuring real fossil dinosaur eggs!), and a variety of other rock, mineral and fossil exhibits. The museum offers hands-on educational tour programs covering earth science topics for all levels of elementary and secondary school.



rox box The Rox Box

The Rox Box was a project by mineralogy professor Dr Ron Peterson in 1999-2000 to supply rock and mineral teaching kits to grade 4 classrooms across Ontario.
